More about Anna’s appearances and events:
Featured in Newsweek June 2026 as a queer leader in LGBTQ+ advocacy and representation, Anna Goodman Herrick was a Guest Speaker at West Hollywood Pride 2026. They have guest taught, performed, and shared their work at: ArtCenter College of Design, Patagonia’s Earth Day, Bloomsday on Broadway (featuring Stephen Colbert), Artist Uprising at the El Paso border with V (fka Eve Ensler), Root Division Gallery, the Alena Museum, and NEARCON in Lisbon, Portugal. Anna has created and performed new work for Radio Bloomsday (ft. Alec Baldwin and Jerry Stiller reading James Joyce and Samuel Becket).

In 2025, the City of Los Angeles commissioned Anna to create and perform new work, to honor “Californian women who have shifted culture.”

Anna has been featured at the Emily Dickinson Museum’s Phosphorescence Poetry Series, presenting "contemporary creativity that echoes Dickinson’s own revolutionary poetic voice."

An on-staff hospice chaplain and grief counselor to both families and medical staff, Anna’s poetry and teaching modalities have been used in group counseling, meditation retreats, and featured in Medical News Today for their healing affects. Anna has taught, including on writing from self-connection and honoring ourselves as sacred, around the U.S. Deeply pluralistic towards collective liberation and safety for all, Anna has taught queer and trans-centered communities, Vedanta (Hindu) Monastery attendees, and social justice retreats, including guiding progressive rabbis to write new, more inclusive poetic liturgy rooted in abolition and liberation theology.
